RESIDENT - ARTIST
Marie-Louise Jones is a British artist whose practice is concerned with duality and polarity – of materiality and immateriality, the organic and synthetic, the ancient and futuristic, - her work is, ultimately, a holistic examination into the human experience. Sculpture, sound, film, and installation all constitute her work, culminating in forms that are often placed within specific environments or landscapes. A London-based artist since receiving her Bachelor of Fine Art in 2009, Marie-Louise is Founder & Director of arts charity Little Paper Slipper, Co-Founder of Circle Art Residency, receiver of DYCP Award from the Arts Council England, and has previously exhibited her work in the UK, Italy, Belgium, Spain, USA and Indonesia.
